Programs

Daniel’s Programs all focus on showing people how to improve daily interactions (how to get along better) with others. Daniel uses an experiential format for his programs first identified and developed by friend and colleague, O. Fred Donaldson, Ph.D.  In the programs, participants discover how to get out of the cycle of daily struggles and conflicts and develop stronger, healthier connections with others. This allows for reduced stress and more energy for those things that matter most.  It also promotes more options not usually seen when people are stuck in conflict.

Programs typically involve brief instruction, audio-visual examples that highlight key concepts and a large amount of interactive, experiential participation so that people are learning by activity and involvement.

Examples of popular programs include:

Playing With Change and Challenges

Life can sometimes come at you hard.  Whether you stay upright or get knocked over often depends on your skill at moving with, not against, the things coming at you.  Learn to stay standing when life comes at you with the small challenges so that you are prepared for the bigger ones down the road.  And if you do get knocked down, discover how to fall and get back up so that you can continue on your way.  This flexibility and adaptability has applications for the workplace and your home life.

Improving Relationships for Better Leadership

If leadership is about guiding others to a better place then how you get there is equally important.  Discover why leadership styles highlighted by caring connections keep people coming back for more service. Compare this with leadership styles that many people are accustomed to - those that rule by power and force.  Learn healthy, effective ways to interact with those you serve.  Improve your interactions, enhance your service and develop your leadership.

How To Play With Difficult People

How do you respond to challenging people so that you don’t get sucked into a cycle of energy draining, unproductive behaviors?  This program shows you how to begin that process and practice this skill so it becomes part of your daily routine.  This process builds stronger communities that interact and work more effectively together. Few things build community faster than showing people how everyone is connected. Are people really "difficult" or do they operate out of fear and poor choices?  This program addresses the heart of this issue.

A Customized Event for Your Organization

What type of a relationship-building program will enhance the connection, harmony and daily functioning of your organization?  Would an event focusing on civility, service, kindness or energy management bring your organization together and keep it connected?  Contact Daniel to develop a customized, interactive event that meets the specific needs of your organization.
